California and Pennsylvania have the largest populations of German origin, with more than six million German Americans residing in the two states alone. Immigration continued in substantial numbers during the 19th century the largest number of arrivals moved 1840–1900, when Germans formed the largest group of immigrants coming to the U.S., outnumbering the Irish and English. Just wanted to clear that up for you and any future potentials clients that will be reading this review of your one minute nine second experience in my shop. Some of this article's listed sources may not be reliable. That’s 2hrs 20 minutes minimum time to do a simple tattoo on you and your friend. The station also has to be broken down and cleaned up after each of you. But let’s say the quote you wanted in a spot where the skin is thinner and more delicate only takes 30 minutes. Even placement can double the time it takes to do. That would be an hour for you and your friend btw. There’s already about 30 minutes of standard preparations before a needle ever touches you. But your friend is only in town today and your super disappointed. I offered to schedule you for an other day. I was open to staying even later than planned to tattoo you and your friend if it was something that wouldn’t take too long. However, I had a client scheduled at 4:30 for a 2hr tattoo. You were here at 4:06 and observed that “the shop was empty”. I need to make sure it doesn’t run into time other clients have scheduled in advance and paid deposits to reserve. I asked what you wanted because it’s necessary info for determining how long your tattoos will take. Even though I was only in your shop for 69 seconds by your account, you should be mindful that a bad impression can be made in less than seven. My friend and I felt awkward and uncomfortable, so I wrote my review to share this experience with YOU more than anyone else. You could have said literally anything that you just wrote… but you didn't. What I did not understand, however, is why in my “one minute nine second experience in your shop” you couldn't simply communicate the dismissal of us as walk-ins like you did in your response to my review. I understand that you have appointments to consider. I understand that set up and tear down takes time. ** Edit after response from the owner** Yes I was disappointed that we weren't able to be worked in, but that's not the reason I left the review that I did. I hope that no one else has this kind of experience because I think Atomic Heart is better than what we encountered today. It’s unfortunate that my friend and I couldn’t get the tattoos we wanted at a shop we were genuinely excited to visit. To me, it felt like why even ask to see the picture if you didn’t have the time to do something as simple as we were asking? I can’t say the tattooing was bad or anything, but the customer service aspect is still just as important in my opinion. Didn’t really seem to want our business, to be honest. She looked at it for a second and then quickly said, “Yeah I can’t do that today.” Didn’t try to offer any alternatives. She asked what we wanted done, so we showed her our picture. We walked up to an older lady behind the counter, she didn’t greet us right away, but we told her we didn’t have an appointment. We went to Atomic Heart on a Saturday at around 4:30pm and it was empty other than one guy getting tattooed. My friend and I were looking to get small matching tattoos on our inner arm while she was in town for the day.
